Getting ready for January 30 – “Computational Social Science” students will present their findings for Winds 4 Change
On November 18, students from the University of Amsterdam presented their initial findings for Winds4Change. In their Bachelor’s programme, the students combine data science with social and behavioural science to solve real-world problems with technical solutions, also for wind propulsion.
One of the student groups, for example, is developing a prototype of a real-time vessel tracker for wind-assisted shipping observatory. It is constantly being updated.
Progressive projects like these make the program “Computational Social Science”, which focusses on skills like programming, data analysis and project management, a valuable partner for Winds 4 Change. The final presentation will take place at the university on January 30.
